Sr. Manager, Social Media Content Strategy

Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Social Content Strategy will be responsible for supporting the Enterprise Social team to ideate, concept and deliver real-time social media content in collaboration with internal and external partners. The position will lead the creative ideation, brief writing and play a key role in the production and optimization of the end-to-end operations. This position will drive the content strategies and creative executions that reflect the business priorities and the brand strategy of both Xfinity and Comcast to drive greater customer engagement and brand affinity. In this role, the Senior Manager will oversee creative agency relationships, and partner with internal stakeholder to analyze campaign metrics and KPIs to optimize content and campaign strategies.

Core Responsibilities:
- Work with cross-functional teams (content, paid media, data and engagement) to define creative strategy and approach.
- Develops creative strategy and plans for assignment completion.
- Responsible for driving creative direction and brief writing so that the creative vision for the project is understood and executed upon by internal and external partners.
- Oversees creative direction to ensure we are consistently creating top quality, effective advertising.
- Consistently pushes our agency partners for proactive as well as reactive strategic and creative excellence.
- Evaluating emerging opportunities and testing and implementing when they align with our business goals.
- Influences and collaborates on media decisions to maximize effectiveness and efficiency of marketing delivery.
- Work closely with agency partner and internal teams to ensure content is properly and accurately included in all tactics and that required approvals have been secured.
- Formalize and optimize content process.
- Train agencies and internal stakeholders on content process and guidelines, and ensure all content updates and changes are communicated to all impacted users on a timely basis.
- Develop and execute tactics within integrated brand lens -aligning with messaging priorities, following brand guidelines and legal compliance.
- Create and maintain the Plan of Record.
- Oversee asset management: internal creative tracker and archiving of assets.
- Proactively identify, prioritize and conduct analysis that drives meaningful change on KPIs and critical objectives.
- Develop easy-to-follow and succinct documents summarizing findings / insights and actions.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Job Specification:
- Generally requires 8-11 years related experience
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent

- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Candidate must possess strong organizational skills and experience managing agencies partners
- Candidate must also possess strong communication skills, and the ability to both build collaborative partnerships and manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously
- Marketing experience a must, advertising agency and/or experience with external partners preferred

- Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, evolving environment and anticipate future needs and trends
- Proven ability to work and think quickly and manage a quickly-changing environment with multiple matrixed leaders
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to progress multiple projects in parallel
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication skills; ability to "tell the story"
- Be able to partner and build successful and strong relationships with the business partners including product teams
- Ability to grasp complex analytic principles
