Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Manager in the Broadband, Automation, and Communications (BAC) team who loves data and learning, wants to be on a fast-paced, collaborative team, and is interested in driving technology strategy to serve our 26 million internet customers.

Specifically focused on Network Access & Technology, this senior manager will think strategically and lead critical analyses to help reveal the dynamics of our high speed data business. You will help point the way to invest in new technologies, enhance the internet customer experience, and grow revenue and profitability. This role provides the opportunity for transformational career development, as the Network Access & Technology team interacts directly with Corporate and Technology & Product leaders and strategists. You will utilize Big Data to uncover insights and develop business cases. You will inform strategy and drive change. And you will be able to use your creativity to address complex and critical issues, and find new and innovative ways to solve complex challenges.

Core Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally to brainstorm approaches and analytical frameworks, acquire data, execute analyses, and present actionable recommendations. Ideal candidate possesses a balance of general business knowledge, ability to work with multi-million record relational databases, analytical acumen, and presentation skills.
- Create actionable insight and understanding, through the analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data, building recommendations that directly address business objectives.
- Strive to consistently apply and interpret data and metrics, while embracing flexibility when innovation and new ideas are needed.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of presentations that are concise, well organized and visually appealing so that that the salient points are clearly communicated.
- Creative problem solver, takes a high level of initiative, has a strong sense of personal accountability to follow-through.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable

Job Specification:
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent.

- Generally requires 8-11 years related experience.
- Preferred Field of Study: Finance, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business.
- Analytic experience and curiosity.
- Advanced data extraction and manipulation.
- Data sourcing and curation.
- Proficiency with SQL based data query languages a must; Experience working with a data visualization tool (Tableau) a plus.
- Business acumen and consultative mindset.
- Ability to query, analyze and visualize geospatial data.
- Experience working in a fast paced, team oriented and collaborative environment.

Technical Skills:
- SQL.
- Tableau.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
